Where Does Your Beef Come From?

It's another beautiful August morning! Sure has been a welcome break from the extreme heat we were having.

I read through this article yesterday and found it both interesting as well as disturbing. As consumers, unless we take positive action to know where and how our food was produced, we really have no idea what all goes on behind the scenes.

On the Farm...

Life continues to be busy and there's always something to do. We built another portable shade structure and pulled it out of the shed yesterday, now I need to focus on getting some fencing and water lines installed. Also need to figure something out with my pigs. They need a little better setup so that's what I'll be working on.

Beef Supply Update

Our beef supply continues to be a bit tight. We have more animals at the processor now and they'll be ready in two weeks. For our Memphis, Tupelo and Starkville customers, take advantage of the open order window and place your orders while supplies last.

That's all for now,
Craig
